Save anything. Find it by whatever you remember.

Save pages from any site, add a few tags, and find them again months later. There are no folders to set up and nothing to file.

tagit in under a minute

Why tagit exists

Your memory doesn't use folders

Bookmark an article that covers both JavaScript and CSS, and a folder system makes you choose one place for it, then quietly makes you remember that choice forever. Folders ask you to predict, at save time, how you'll search months later. You'll guess wrong.

With folders

“Animating layouts with JS & CSS”
↓
📁 javascript
or
📁 css

Pick one. Then remember, in three months, which one you picked.

With tagit

“Animating layouts with JS & CSS”
↓
#javascript#css#animation

Describe it once. Any tag you remember later is a path back to it.

You don't recall where you filed something. You recall what it was about. “That CSS article” is enough. Most bookmark tools still hand you a filing cabinet. tagit works the way remembering works.

What it does

Save it. Describe it. Find it again.

Save

One click, a few words, done

The Chrome extension grabs the page, its image and its text. You describe it with tags. On Premium, tagit suggests the ones you forgot and writes a two-sentence summary so you never have to reopen a page to remember what it was.

  • Saves from any site, including images and screenshots
  • Suggested tags drawn from your own vocabulary
  • A summary on every card

Find

Search with whatever you remember

A tag, a phrase from the title, or just roughly what it was about. Search by meaning finds the article even when you cannot recall a single word from it, and related saves surface the things you forgot you kept.

  • Tags, full text and search by meaning in one bar
  • Related saves in every preview
  • Works across a library of ten or ten thousand

Share

Collections for people who read together

A shared collection is one list, comments on every article, and a weekly digest so nobody has to remember to check. Reading groups, research teams, hiring panels. Anything with a list and opinions about it.

  • Invite by email or link, editor and viewer roles
  • Comments stay attached to the article
  • Private by default, always

Keep

Links die. Your saves don't.

tagit checks every link weekly and flags the ones that stopped working. On Premium it also keeps the readable text of every page you save, so an article is still an article after the site that published it is gone.

  • Weekly link checks with a quiet badge
  • Archived copy of the text on every save
  • Export your whole library any time

Who it's for

For anyone with too many open tabs

Professionals

Save articles and references for work, tag them by project or client, and find the right link when you need it.

Researchers

Keep papers and articles in collections you share with your group. Public tags show what others in your field are saving.

Curious readers

Close the tabs you keep open for later. Save them, tag them, and follow the topics you care about.

For teams

Where your team's research lives

Links shared in chat get buried, and links saved in personal accounts leave when people do. A tagit workspace gives a company, lab or small team one shared library for the sources they use, and everyone keeps a personal library on the side.

A workspace, not a folder

Articles, tags and shared collections all live in the workspace. Everyone saves into the same place and searches the same library.

Invite by email, manage by role

Owners control billing and membership. Admins invite and remove people. Members save, tag and edit. Switch anyone's role from a single page.

Pay only for the seats you use

You pay for the seats in use, and the bill follows your team size up or down. There are no add-ons to buy per feature.

Knowledge that stays with the team

When someone leaves, their bookmarks stay in the workspace. No more chasing personal accounts to recover the link you needed.

Free for the first 5 seats. Cancel anytime.

A note from the person who built this

tagit exists because I got tired of the internet's best ideas dying in a folder called “Read later 2.” Folders made saving things feel like doing taxes. Tags made it feel like remembering.

Built in Iceland, mostly at hours I shouldn't be awake. If something's broken, or something's missing, tell me: support@tagit.io. I read all of it.
